(More customer reviews)As an ex 'paper-photographer', I've lugged around my pro-gear for years and suffered the painful consequences ever since. I now have what I jokingly call an 'Achilles Neck', and have as a consequence been through literally dozens of camera bags, trying to find a solution to keep carrying enough gear to satisfy my shooting style. The traditional camera bag obviously is a no starter, sling bags look like a good idea, but don't work when they are loaded with a lot of gear (you can't shift them, so they are even worse than camera bags) and backpacks, although comfortable, keep you from accessing your equipment in a convenient way. By accident, I stumbled on to the Newswear Chestvest and decided to give it a go. Result: no more neck pains, sore shoulders or a stiff back. What a joy it is to carry around 2 pro-bodies (eos-1D series), 2 extra batteries, 2 pro-zooms (70-200mm f/2.8 and 17-40mm), 2 Metz 54MZ, and some small accessories without really noticing all the stuff is there in the first place. I guess the military don't carry around their ammo and equipment in big shoulder bags for very good reasons (mobility and comfort?) The only drawback I can think of is the 'suicide bomber look'. I cannot recommend this vest enough to photographers with neck and shoulders problems!
