It holds up my Nikon 5000D easily, and has multiple knobs that allow you to point it in any direction. It fits easily into the side pocket of my camera bag, so it can go anywhere with me. Very good product.

This compact clamp is made in the USA, VERY well built, small enough to fit in you pocket.
It allows a camera, camcorder, spotting scope or binoculars that has a tripod mount, to be solidly attached to a table, roll cage, car tube bumper, fences, railings, tree branch, shooting bench, so on and so forth (you get the idea), using a standard 1/4"-20 threaded quick connect screw, just like any standard tripod. It attaches to either round or flat objects from 1" to 2.5" thick, with rubber on both sides of the clamp, it will not scratch or slip. It utilizes a ball and socket mount to allow maximum flexibility in framing the subject.
