(More customer reviews)A high list price is my only complaint about this beautifully-engineered and crafted scope. As we've come to expect from Zeiss [and from so many other German companies], this scope is carefully designed for ease and simplicty of use, for durability, for optical clarity, and for solidity in the hand. The image is crystal-clear, the zoom ring slides silently as though in oil, the eye relief is optimal for higher-powered rifles [mine is mounted on a .270 WSM], the x-and-y axis adjusters work beautifully... I have nothing even slightly negative to report about function. I do believe it's somewhat over-priced, at least compared to the better Nikon Monarchs, for example, but I had some gift certificates to spend, so that wasn't an issue.
I purchased through Amazon from Optics Planet. They were an excellent seller.
