I'm normally a user of Lowepro bags. However, the price was so good on this bag that I decided to order it. I wanted carry my Nikon D300S kit and my netbook computer in a bag that looked less like a camera bag and more like a small briefcase.
I was not sure what level of quality I would receive when it arrived, but was well pleased. The bag is well padded and well constructed. It has heavy polycarbonate clasps and appears to be made of strong material that can take abuse. It does not seem to absorb water when in the rain. I feel confident that my camera and computer are well protected when I'm carrying it.
How much does equipment does it hold? A reasonable amount! Internally, I carry a Nikon D300S camera with a AF-S Nikkor 16-85mm lens on the body. It also holds an extra Nikkor 60mm Micro lens, an SB-900 Speedlight flash, a GP-1 GPS unit, three extra EN-EL3e battery packs, and several memory cards in a little pouch. There is enough height to the bag that I could put an 18-200mm lens on the body without the lens touching the bottom of the bag. You insert the camera lens down, and it is easy to remove from the bag.
I also carry my Dell 10.1 inch netbook in the front zipper compartment. I put the power supply on top of my spare Nikkor 60mm lens. Remember, this is a tall bag. There is not enough room for a computer any larger than a netbook--such as those made by Dell, Acer, and Asus.
Now, on to the things I disliked. I do not like the double clasps on the front. They are plenty strong, but it takes me a little too much time to snap the clasps closed when I need to go somewhere. I would strongly prefer some type of zipper. I don't like the large flap that folds over the front of the bag, either. It is necessary for content protection, but always seems to be in my way when I am opening the bag. The only other thing I disliked was the rubbery "stickiness" of the shoulder pad. It's not very sticky. You don't want a bag to slide off of your shoulder. I removed the provided shoulder strap and took one off an old Lowepro bag. I like how the Lowepro strap sticks to my shoulder better.
Overall, I like this bag, and use it daily. I've had it for several weeks now, and it is holding up well. For the price, it is well constructed and very usable. I rate it a 4-star bag. I would have gone to 4.5 if it was available, because my complaints were minor. I'm sure that if they company was charging Lowepro level prices the things I disliked would be corrected. For the low cost, this bag is well worth buying. I recommend it for those who can't afford a Lowepro or premium brand bag.
