This transmitter/receiver Wireless RF (radio frequency) remote control features a maximum operating range of 100m. It features three modes of operation:When the Receiver function button is in the W Mode, the receiver is active and can receive signals from the transmitter. This allows the photographer to use the Shutter and Focus buttons of the transmitter to control the Camera's shutter and Focus respectively.In O Mode position of the receiver, the transmitter can not activate the receiver to control the camera.
