(More customer reviews)I purchased these triggers out of pure necessity. I wanted something off-camera, easy to use and wireless. The feeling of having a set of Photogenic StudioMax II 320Bs tip over because of a cable is gut wrenching! These triggers allow me to fire my lights without that fear. The perk is that I can also use them for my strobist set of cheap Vivitar DF383 Flashes! Dial in my power and fire away!
The UNPT-04 transmitter/receiver set is of sturdy, thick plastic construction and the umbrella mount on the receiver is solid metal, machined and screwed to the side for rigid support. What a great idea! The hotshoe mount is made of metal and my flash feels very secure even without tightening the lock on the flash. I've used it without failure at about 25'.
Get a set and be sure to buy and extra receiver or two-they also come with the umbrella mount! Can't beat the price and the instant gradification!
