(More customer reviews)I use this battery with a Nikon S710. It is rated as less powerful than the OEM (original) battery, and while it lasts a bit less time than the original, if you carry a second battery "just incase" as I do, and rarely use the backup battery, this is definitely an economical solution. It charges just as fast as the OEM battery, doesn't seem to cause any additional heat or anything like that, fits just as the OEM does and is significantly less expensive. I used it for a full day of taking photos at a theme park, mostly without a flash, and only the last 2 or 3 photos did I need to switch over to the OEM battery as the "backup".
Fully recommended if your backup battery is just that-- a backup and not a second full use battery.
