(More customer reviews)When it comes to protecting screens, ZAGG is top of the line! I have an invisibleSHIELD on my cell phone, my wife's phone, and my D90. I realize they do cost a little more, but it is worth it. Go to the ZAGG website and look at their video of the screen protector on an IPad; they use a Dremel on it with no damage to the IPad. The screen protector will scratch, don't get me wrong, but the scratches won't get through to the screen. When the screen is lit up the scratches seem to go away.
I bought this because I don't like the Nikon provided screen protector; it cuts down on the resolution too much. These protectors don't cut the resolution.
One of the best testimonials I have for this product is that I took some of the extra screen protector product (from a Universal protector I bought for my cell phone) and cut it to cover the top LCD. Two weeks later the plastic cover for the top LCD cracked (I set my camera bag down too hard, and a second lens squished the LCD). The screen protector kept the LCD from actually breaking, only the top plastic cracked. If I did not have the screen protector in place, I think the screen would have fully broke plus, with it in place I don't have to get it fixed because it is water/moisture repellent.
The price is not that bad, when you think about having to replace a scratched screen (not to mention the cost of almost anything else for digital photography). Get it you won't be disappointed.
